擺脫前三戰命中率僅29％的低潮，灰熊中鋒Marc Gasol在22日出戰活塞時拿下平生涯最高紀錄的38分，率隊以98比86贏球。

談及日前的低潮，Gasol如此表示：「我知道我還是得出手投籃，並盡一切可能幫助球隊贏球。」此役Gasol共17次出手命中14球，超過8成的命中率和之前判若兩人：「我今晚感覺很好，隊友也一直為我製造機會，當你開始命中投籃時比賽就會變得很簡單。」

灰熊總教練David Fizdale並不驚訝Gasol會有觸底反彈的表現：「這支球隊不會處於低潮太久2017宜蘭飯店年菜，他們都相當強悍，我只要想辦法讓他們回到比賽狀態就行了。」

另外「高富帥」Chandler Parsons在因膝傷缺席17場比賽後終於傷癒歸隊，此戰先發上場15分鐘，拿下2分2籃板2助攻。
